The location of the Fairway Inn at the Miracle Strip Parkway (Highway 98) is very convenient for dining and casual entertainment. A 5-15 minute walk will bring any guest to an abundance of restaurants catering to every taste and budget. There are popular seafood spots, classic American diners, fast-food chains, and family-friendly eateries all around. It’s that great concentration of eating spots that means most typically, it’s not so far from there to walk for breakfast, lunch, or dinner – a great convenience.

In between, also nearby walking attractions include classic beach town fun. A short walk from Goofy Golf, there is that vintage mini-golf course that stands as a local landmark. Here, too, souvenir shops and beachwear stores abound within easy walking distance, in case one's picking up essentials or presents for others. Just outside the hotel/motel, the immediate vicinity teems with all the attractions and things to see and do as a favorite coastal destination

The motel may not be on the beach, But beautiful white sand beaches of Okaloosa Island are across the Brooks Bridge. Walking across the bridge would be long (25–30 min) and not great in the heat, the little drive is 2–3 minutes. On the island, you will have the whole mile long public beach, Okaloosa Island Pier and popular attractions at Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park. The motel is quite walkable to dining and local fun and is just a quick hop from the main beaches.
